Spanish stock market in positive day
After the heavy end of yesterday (-2.95%) today, the IBEX index of the Madrid stock exchange marks a rise of 1, 43%. Positive sign for the bank BBVA (+0.99%) and SCH (+1.18%), despite the crisis affected Argentina and profit warnings that have launched, SCH Monday (growth from 27% to 15%) and BBVA today (profits from 24% to 16%). A drive up the index in Madrid, the media group Prisa (+3.98%), which this morning published the data on the first nine months 2001. Profits fell to 64 million euros from 82 million last year, slightly below expectations of analysts.
